Common Ground Ministries provides free groceries to individuals and families across Luzerne, Carbon, and Monroe counties in Northeast Pennsylvania — with curbside pickup in Beaver Meadows and home delivery if you have no transportation. Call or text 570-801-2699.
How the pantry works
Our pantry operates from our community center in Beaver Meadows, a former church on Route 93 in Carbon County. We stock staples like rice, pasta, and canned goods from Second Harvest Food Bank alongside fresh produce, dairy, meat, and rescued grocery items — the kinds of food families actually want to eat.
There is no cost, and everybody is welcome. Call or text our hotline to set up a curbside pickup or a delivery. If you are facing a food emergency, tell us — our building lets us respond around the clock.
Delivery for neighbors without transportation
No car? No problem. We deliver groceries directly to homes across our three-county service area, with a special focus on seniors and families without reliable transportation. It's part of how we live our motto: everybody eats.
